A much anticipated collection for the season is finally out! The re-release of the Solger Briefs and Kavan Jocks by Barcode Berlin was an event we were expecting to happen this spring. These two lines are made for the well-endowed guys who need extra pouch room to feel more comfortable. These lines were first released last Autumn and their success was immediate! There was a problem though with the pattern on the waistband (repeated arrows) which some company in Europe claimed that it violated its copyright so Barcode Berlin had to reproduce both collections (along with two others that had the same pattern on the waistband) with a different pattern. We are more than certain that many of you are quite excited about the re-release of these as they are the most roomy underwear in the Barcode Berlin collections. The brand didn’t stop though in the redesign of the waistband pattern. It introduced some new colour ways alongside the existing, best selling ones, to expand the colour options of both collections. The first release includes white with black, khaki with black, indigo blue with white and mint green with white for the Solger Briefs and black with white, yellow with white and mint green with white for the Kavan Jockstraps. As you have guessed, all the new colours are now available at Men and Underwear – The Shop and more are coming soon!
For those of you not familiar with these styles, here are a few details about them. The Solger Briefs and Kavan Jocks have a retro feel but a contemporary design. The fabric is a ribbed cotton with just 2% elastane. This adds some extra elasticity to the ribbed fabric for a comfortable fit. These lines are made for the guys who need plenty of room in the pouch of their underwear. The pouch is not only deeper than most but also wider that other Barcode Berlin styles. These are definitely, alongside the Trophy Boy briefs by Andrew Christian, the most comfortable underwear for guys with bigger package. The waistband is also ribbed so it is super soft and comfortable and matches the colour of the underwear featuring contrasting (either black or white) stripes at the top and the barcode logo in the middle.
