Britain based luxury mens’ underwear brand Drake & Hutch was founded in 2014 by Pete McGuinness. After spending three years working with British tailors the brand created a unique cut underwear made with the same care and attention to detail you would find in a bespoke suit, focusing on three key areas: fit, fabric and detail.
The brand is now launching its new Pima Cotton range through crowd funding on Kickstarter.
The boxer-brief style was tested thoroughly in the market and has been developed in collaboration with Jermyn St. Tailors to prevent rise and bunching, while the four piece contoured pouch supports without compressing.
The fabric of the new range is a pima cotton blend with lycra to provide stretch, breathability, softness and durability, complemented by a microfiber made waistband with a silky feel to it.
With an array of details, perhaps the most striking is the hidden lining. Printed by hand in London, the concept references the lining found on a tailored jacket while the process actually softens the already soft pima cotton. A design feature referencing the labels tailoring heritage while highlighting the level of detail that has gone into every hand made garment.
