The latest campaign of Adonis by Kyhry underwear is a call to action for change in the gay community. The images showcase the new, Pride Collection of the brand on four guys of different body types and ethnicities. It stands for inclusivity, body positivity, and unity and is photographed by Thomas and Jazzmine Kirk of Xquisite Views. Models Welton Pollard, Emery Johnson, Adam Peters and Kalvin Leveille pose in the new designs against colourful backgrounds, together and on their own, smiling and having fun. The collection was released just in time for Pride Month and comprises various underwear styles such as briefs, boxer briefs and jockstraps in sizes from S to XXL to fit most men. It’s a lovely line of men’s underwear, full of colours and elements of fun incorporated into the designs.
Pride month (June) is all about unity. LGBTQ+ communities around the world unite and celebrate acceptance and the freedom to be themselves.
Adonis founder Kyhry Taylor said:
“This campaign is our way of promoting unity in the gay community. The harsh reality is that we’re still somewhat divided. Social activities for gay men are often separated by race and cliques are formed based on appearances. As a community, we have to do better and some of this responsibility is on the brands. For us, it starts with the images we put out in the world. It is important to show a representation of our diverse customer base in this campaign, so we selected models of different backgrounds and body types. I believe that customers should be represented and valued by the brands they support.”
Here is a bit more information about the stars of this campaign, photographers and models. Thomas and Jazzmine Kirk of Xquisite Views are photographers based out of the Baltimore, Washington Metropolitan area. Their work has been featured in a number of fashion and beauty publications, including Surreal Mag. Emery Johnson is a model and actor; he appeared on the FX series Pose. Welton Pollard has worked with celebrity photographers such as Marvin Joseph and Elvis Piedra. Model Adam Morris has worked for several fashion brands such as Southpole and Shoe City among others. Last but not least, Kalvin Leveille has been featured in several public health awareness campaigns in the USA.
Kyhry Taylor also added:
