It’s not very often that you see snow in Athens! The Greek capital is known for its mild winters and hot summers, but this year, in one of the rarest events for years, snow fell in the metropolitan area covering in a white blanket almost all its regions from the hills down to the sea. Men and Underwear was there and took this rare opportunity to photograph an editorial we have been longing to shoot for many years, men in underwear in the snow! Our very own ambassador and model Stathis was called upon the hard task to pose in nothing but his Walking Jack underwear and a few props near the mountain town of Arachova, a bit more that 150 kilometres from the Greek capital. The place is just magical and with the blue skies and snow created an amazing backdrop for this shoot. Stathis was a dream to work with, for one more time, going in an out of the house and posing in his underwear in the cold like it was summer! Underwear is an all weather garment and especially when it is made from the material that Walking Jack is using, it can be worn at any season. This is what we wanted to express from such an editorial and we hope you like it as much as we do. All credits of course go to our model who had this brilliant idea about the place and time of the shoot and for being able to do what he did in sub-zero temperatures!
